After last week's problems, you think the PM would be on double time blog duty but she told us we are only blogging for two days this week.
First off, I want to apologize for not visiting any of my friends the last couple of days. Last minute, on Tuesday, the MM decided to rent a jackhammer to do some work that needed to be done in the basement/crawlspace. The PM said she didn't want to stick around and listen to that all day so she packed up the wee ones and they went to stay at The Nanny's. Not only did we have to listen to racket for three day, we couldn't visit our friends and the MM forgot to give us any Stinky Goodness. The nerve!!!!! The PM came home late yesterday afternoon and it didn't get much better as the wee lad ended up getting the sickness the wee-est one had on the weekend and he was pretty wiped out and I dare say, so was the PM. She did give us some wet food and said she would be helping us visit our friends, Friday and through the weekend. It is kind of slow moving around here but at least I have my whole family back home.
Now back to my post~
Banshee spoke of her "love of clutter" yesterday so today I want to share with you one of my favorite "room to sprawl" spaces.
This is a type of island that The Grampie made for the PM after they bought the house. The top is made for one huge single slab of tree.
The PM finally got it cleared off and that is how I like it. It had been buried under piles of things since before Christmas.
It makes the perfect place on which to bathe.

It is very smooth and the perfect size for me!
It also looks great with my colour of fur which is always a bonus!
Goldie and Shade like to have room to sprawl when they lay down. They like a made bed as opposed to an unmade bed, a clear spot in which to nestle.
I, on the other hand, like to lay in seemingly uncomfortable contortions wrapped or lounging over pieces of furniture.
I really enjoy chair rungs. I have fallen asleep over these.

Clutter doesn't bother me in the least.
So or you a "room to stretch" kitty or like me, like it a little cramped?

Tuxie Tuesday ~ More tattletales and A friend
Tuxie Tuesday ~ More tattletales and A friend
I have a thing or two to pass on about Banshee. She's not Miss Perfect like she makes herself out to be.
The PM had just taken the wee-est one out of the bath and was combing her hair when Banshee strolled in and jumped on the side of the tub. The water was still in the tub and the PM explained that to her and even splashed around some of it to prove it. Banshee looked at the splashes then jumped right in. Yes, jumped in on purpose!!!! Not an accidental slip like me. She jumped right out though but not in a crazy stressed out manner. She calmly walked out leaving a trail of water behind her, went to the window ledge, jumped up and spend about an hour washing.
The PM wanted to get a photo but the Music Man had taken the camera as he was going to see some bands play. Too bad, I would have made a poster out of it. I wonder if Banshee ever went fishing in a brook when she was feral?
Banshee also has a bad habit of stealing licks from the PM's coffee! The PM has to drink fast and watch her like a hawk. I don't think she needs all that caffeine!
Now I want to introduce you to a friend of mine. She hangs out by my bed on the window ledge.
She's a penguin though it is hard to tell as Goldie chewed off half of her beak.
I think of her as a kindred spirit as I still have a scarred nose where Banshee scratched me.
The PM put a ribbon around her neck at Christmas and left it on as it raised her self esteem. Maybe I need a ribbon two.
It was a pretty quiet weekend. The wee-est one had a fever so it was very low key. We did our duty by keeping her company on the couch.
More snow but some rain is on its way. We have had a lot of snow last week.
Here is a pic that was taken a couple of weeks ago. Yes, Shade was actually outside in the snow for about five minutes while the beans were out snowshoeing. I think she did it to tease Banshee as she is not allowed out.
This is the same chair after our last storm last week. Barely visible.
I haven't been allowed out at all as the PM worries I'll go exploring and our wild friends are still around. She thinks they are a mating pair. They just look at her when she goes out back with the compost. She wishes they would go back into the woods before our crazy neighbour realizes they are there.
