Another quiet Sunday, resting, napping and eating. I look out the window occasionally, watching for the fox. A pair were by yesterday. The Peacemaker is worried about them being around so much in the middle of the day. They rest under a tree on the wee hill where the kits were born last spring. Maybe she is back to make sure it is safe to have another litter. The kits are very cute though, they fight and roll down the hill together. I look forward to spring.
We were very surprised and honored to receive this special award from our fellow Canuck Kitties, Donny, Marie and Casey.
Thank you so much! It took us awhile to figure out how to pass it on as a Mac is harder to work with, I guess. We would like to pass this award on to the wonderful ginger darlings from across the pond. We have followed their adventures and strolls on the coast of Wales as the Peacemaker and the wee ones lose themselves in the books by Jackie Morris, the one who walks with them. We would not have a blog if it weren't for those gorgeous gingers.

We would like to thank you all for our award. So lovely. And we do so love your red fox and envy you the snow. All we have is rain, wet and mud which is not good for a cat's paws. She bought us a present and we love it and we are thinking of starting the "cat in the bag " award. We will post pictures soon.
And thanks again.
Love from the gingers and that woman who paints.
Congratulations on your award! :)

Oh Goldenshade it is a pleasure to know such fine kitties as yourselves! I will look forward with great delight to reading all about you on your nice blog. The darling gingers are amazing kitties and warm us to the core with their tales of list and bracken and cozy fires after their wanderings. I sense that I will find the same feeling of contentment when I am here with you both....
Much love Miss Peach who is the beloved of Mickey
