.

We are having a quiet Thanksgiving Day. The PM and the wee ones went down to the cottage for the day yesterday but we stayed here. Goldie was hoping for some nice turkey or ham for lunch but as usual, this strange stuff came out.

Goldie actually gave one piece a lick but went to sleep on the window ledge disgusted. He said if he stuck his head near the screen and inhaled deeply, he could smell faint broiled fowl from across the field.

I ended up going outside for a little walk.

This is actually what our garden looks like now. Goldie posted some pics in a previous post of garden blooms but they were from August when we made it back home from the city.

I love the Autumn colours, they go very well with my fur.

Happy Tofurky Day!
Sorry you had to get by with only a whiff of the real stuff. There's still a few weeks before our Thanksgiving down here and I'm hoping to score some turkey this year myself. I'm not hopeful though. Last year I made the mistake of playing with my turkey a little too much. I'm probably destined to eat my usual dry kibble.

Your fall photos are really beautiful! It looks just like that here...except for the crazy snow that is falling today.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Shade we love the pictures you showed us today. It does look more like Fall indeed. So you're stuck with a vegetarian? Our mom was a vegetarian too for many, many years but fell for a typical paella in an Andalusian country village some years ago. We still think you should make the PM feed you raw meat. Her good conscience shouldn't be your disadvantage. Or she has to make up with treats. Lots and lots of treats! : )

Oh dear! Tofurkey? I'm actually speechless. Don't they know you are carnivores? Cats are not fegans...(even if my sister Jonesie grows the fegan stuff)...

Didn't they read the fine print in your contract?

Teleport over here my furriends and we'll set you up.

Oh our mom loves that Tofu stuff...we run over to the plate and give it a good sniff, but it's always the same sad story.

We're sorry about the tofurkey. If it's any consolation, we know our Mom had turkey when she went to visit her brother, but she came back with nothing for us!
