.

Since Goldie did a summer post, I thought I should get to too. These are some photos from a lovely afternoon in early September.

A nice hug from the wee lass.

This is a photo of our poor bedraggled veggie garden. Since the PM was only here for about two weeks this summer, the garden was swamped with weeds. She was supposed to lay down some permanent paths but that didn't happen. She is quite upset with it and plans to spend next year just clearing weeds. She even had started a blog for her gardening/creative pursuits but she'll have to work on that too next Spring.

Oh well, more blogging time for us!!

Wonderful outdoor pictures, Shade. Natural light is the best! Your poor mom, of course the weeds took over. Our mom says she would be visiting her gardening blog for sure and she's looking forward to Spring.

We love your lovely pictures! Our mom always starts off strong in the spring, but by summer the weeds have taken over her flower beds. She means well, but she's no green thumb, MOL!

Lovely photos Shade! We would love to visit your mom's garden blog. We won't let my mom have one because we're afraid it would cut into our time.

The Wee Lass looks like she loves you. You are a lucky kitty Shade. Ah, weeds...just misplaced flowers. They're all part of earth's beauty.

What a beautiful day! Love the photo of you and the wee lass -- so sweet! We didn't get to many of our gardening projects this year & my container vegetable garden was a bust; already planning for next year!

Beautiful photos, looks like the puuuuurfect day to be outside. I was a little worried when I saw you outside, I was afraid that you might run away. Then I noticed you and a lead on. That is safe. Now I won't have to worry about you.
