I was doing some snoopervising out the side window a couple of weeks ago, looking for the weasel.
Everything was very quiet. Nothing moving except a few cows.
Then I saw her.
The vixen was back having a snooze by her Spring den.
There were cows wandering around and they didn't seem to mind her.
The PM worries about the fox family so much in the Spring but she loves having them around. She hopes they will be back with a new family next year as the PM had mentioned it in passing to a naturalist in the region and he wants to come visit us next year to watch the new kits.

How exciting that the fox has returned! I hope she has more kits this year, too.
What a gorgeous fox! We think she's beautiful!
We hope the fox family stays safe and has a good life. There are foxes where we live, too, and our humans have seen them in a local park.
How lovely. We hope the fox has another family in the spring.
Ooo dat fox looks purrty. I just found your bloggy and it looks wonderful. Purrrrrrsss
We have foxes near us too! Our neighbour got a few pics of our local fox family. As far as we can tell only one kit survived this year. They like to keep their den close to our neighbour's horse barn.
Thanks for sharing your pictures!

We think she's beautiful! We hope she finds enough food over the winter and makes it through to Spring!
Wow! We love all the animals you have around your house! We hope those foxes come back too!
Great news that you have your fox back - we hope she has some more cubs this year - we love to see the little ones.
We've never seen a real fox, so we love that we can see your visitor!
How wonderful to live so close to nature. We have a few racoons and skunks but we've never seen a fox. So pretty!
Beautiful! Yes, we hope they stay safe too. It's so beautiful where you live!
She really likes it at your place. She's such a beautiful lady, we can understand very well how much the PM loves to watch her.
Many purrs,

What a blessing to have such beautiful wildlife in your own yard. Mrs. Vixen must think it fine place to raise a family.
We hear coyotes at night, but thankfully they don't come up to the house!
::shivers::
Every once in awhile we see our red fox, but it's very rare. We had a sighting of a black bear recently. But we usually only see possums and armadillos and animals like that. It is so wonderful that you've got such gorgeous wildlife near you.

I'd take a fox over a weasel any day -- they're just not as -- well -- weaselly!
You must have lots of excitement year round looking out that window, Banshee!
I think foxes are beautiful!
Woo know how much I enjoy watching her and HER fluffy tail!

Oooooooooh, what a pretty fox! You be careful though.
We live in the city and so don't see any.
The foxes are pretty. But are they dangerous to kitties?
The vixen looks lovely snoozing in the sun. We have foxes that wander around our fields.
Beautiful Vixen but made me worry about you, That fox got the huge fang !!!! Careful Buddy
What a fun thought to have a naturalist around, rather than hunters! We fear that foxes are not properly appreciated here in France...
We just read your comment: Happy third blogoversary! That's a mighty long time. We enjoy your bloggie so much, it's good you're posting when there's time.
Many purrs and a happy weekend,
Siena & Chilli
Oh isn't that great fun having a fox den so close to you. Where our Mom used to live, we had a fox den too and when the babies came, it was so much fun to watch them play. Take care and have a great day.
