We have been getting a CSA half share for about a month now and I wanted to check out what all the excitement was all about.
OK, lots of organic greenery.
Wait! What is this huge thing? It is almost as big as I am.
A leaf lettuce you say?
I may have to sample a leaf tip...

Wow! The mom says that lettuce looks fantastic, but we confess we don't see the appeal. :-P

You are so adorable, Banshee! You remind our Mom of a cat named Desdemona that she used to have who used to LOVE lettuce. She'd take off with a whole head from the crisper and eat it to the middle!

As a general rule we try not to let our human eat anything that we haven't tasted first. We think you are doing an excellent job inspecting the lettuce.
