.

Slowly we are getting the house ready for the festive season.

Banshee and I have been snoopervising while Shade spends the days, roasting next to the woodstove.

Yep, no breakables left in here, PM

This is very interesting. I have never been around so many shiny, pretty things.

This light flashing, bell jingling, snowman singing thing really has to go, though.

Our friend, Cory had a post last week where she was singing to her tomatillo. She has a wonderful voice but I was upset that I couldn't find her!!!

Is she singing upstairs?

No, she must be down here somewhere!

Where are you, little feline diva???

Behind the computer? Are you in there Cory???????

You must be very skinny to fit in there. I can't see you though.

I couldn't find her after all. She sounded like fun. Maybe next time she won't stay hidden behind the computer and come out to play.

31 Meows

6X6 Meme

6X6 Meme

We are planning on finishing the Christmas decorating this weekend even though it it looks more like Spring now. It has rained and been fairly mild so the snow is disappearing rapidly and the basement was flooded. The PM wants the weather to make it's mind up already!!! More snow or rain in a few days. I will be doing a lot of snoopervising this weekend for sure.

We were tagged by Ariel for the 6th pic meme.

The rules are:
Go to your Picture Folder on your computer or wherever you store your pictures.
Go to the 6th Folder and then pick the 6th Picture.
Post it on your bloggy and tell the story that goes with the picture.
Tag 5 other fine cats to do the same thing and leave a comment on their blog letting them know.

The folder we landed on was our "Fall" folder. Here is the 6th pic.

This is The Nanny and The Grampie's cat Treepie.  Everyone was down at the cottage for Thanksgiving, in Canada that was mid October, and they went for a walk and took Treepie on his lead. The Music Man bent over to pet him and he jumped up on his back. He was tired and that was his hint that he wanted to be carried home.

We are going to tag: Sweet Praline, JB, Fui and Suey,
Vampy Victor and Tesla.

Have a great weekend all!!!

We are moving on to our next sign.
This week it is~

Cancer
June 21- July 22

Cancer pets are faithful guardians. All they want in return for their loyalty is affection and good food.

I bet a lot of dawgs are like this. I don't know about us kitties though.

Is anycat a Cancer or knows a Cancer?

Tune in next week for Leo, our last pet sign.

Well. Goldie is mad at me and I think I have a problem.

Apparently he asked the PM to make him some special prizes for some giveaway later on this month. She had her wool, sewing stuff, cottony quilting stuff and various tools in a bag which she took in town with her when they went away overnight this weekend. When she came home, she put the bag in the kitchen. There was also another important item in the bag. CATNIP.

When she came back into the kitchen. The bag looked like this.

I chewed/ ripped a hole in the corner to get this out.

I would have probably have eaten the whole bag of nip is she hadn't caught me in the act.

Now the PM can't work with anything from that bag without me going crazy, biting at everything, drooling. Making quite a fool of myself. She's now only able to sew once I have been put in my room for the night.

Sorry Goldie. I hope she gets your prizes done in time. I just couldn't help myself.

Early morning in the woods.

No birds are singing.

Everything crisp, the snow falls from the pine trees silently.

From the cold dark comes the apricot streak.

Hurry up! Hurry up! Open the flippin' door!!!!!
