They came home with this wonderful news and I just had to share it right away. They were going to visit the PM's sister as it was the B.I.L.'s birthday get together. The wee cousin told them he had a surprise for everyone.
Aren't they sweet? The PM's sister had thought about getting a new cat as the house seemed a little too quiet and Sissy, their other cat was looking a little lost. At the B.I.L.'s work, one of the guys mentioned that his mom had two kittens she was trying to find a home for. She had rescued them from a farm as the mom cat was a barn cat and just kicked the kittens out, she was not taking care of them. They were going to get rid of them but this woman said she'd take them and she has had them for the last two weeks, feeding them with a dropper. She said though that they came as a pair as they were brother and sister and loved each other so much. The PM's sister's family went to see them and got both right then. It was meant to be.
This is the little girl. She seems like the wilder of the two.
Here is Sissy, showing off a bit with the toys. They had just come the night before so I was shocked at how well he was handling it. He hissed a few times but stayed close by watching.
The hissing must not have lasted too long as we were sent kitten update pictures last night and Sissy seems pretty happy.
Here he is with the little brother.
They don't have any names yet. Any good suggestions for a brother and sister set?

Oh, they are precious! We're sure a name with be telephathed by the kittens, once they decide what they'd like to ba celled.
Oh, they are so cute! Just adorable. :) We are glad they found a wonderful Forever Home and that Sissy has new companions!
We are horrible with names, but we're sure the right names will come!
They are really cute. I am getting a bit jealous thus :)
The first that came to mind for names for me was Hansel and Gretel.
That's great news! It looks like a tabby and a tortie. I think Hansel and Gretel is a good suggestion. Maybe they also need to get their own blog!
wow they ar so cuite in iceland i got sissy and bro named them Seppa and Bossi your your story about them is beautiful and they look like Hansel&Gretel
Oh they're very cute! :) How much do they weigh at the moment in grams? From the look of their ears they look like they are at least 5-6 weeks old, so will be needing their first shots soon. Kittens tend to be about 100g at birth and are about 500g by 1 month old, gaining a little over 100g a week on average. This should help you work out an approximate age, though they may be older and less well fed. Hard to tell from photos, though hands on it's easier to look at teeth, development and the like! I just hope they decide to play games at better hours than Isis kittens! ;)
oh how sweet to open their home to these two little orphens.
the only names that come to mind are Tony & Tia from the Disney movie (years ago!) called Escape to Witch Mountian. they were orphans and found a forever home too!
Oh they are super cute! And it's wonderful that they can have a forever home together! They look so little still, but we bet that baby tortie will be a handful (they always are!).
Oh, those kittens are just adorable! I think they will communicate just what their names should be!
