Cone Fear

Cone Fear

I have been hanging out in my favorite BRD-TV window everyday since the decorations have been put up. I like all the greenery, makes me feel like I am outside but warm with food two feet away.

Somethings are making me a bit nervous.

These pinecones are huge!!! They are as high as my chest. They are not from around here, they came from way across Canada, from British Columbia. The PM loves them, and is in search of even bigger ones from Sugar Maples.

I just keep imagining how big the trees are that these suckers came from. That would make for real big forests too. I wonder if there are any Sasquatch there. Maybe one actually touched one of these cones!

That's it, I am changing windows.

Don't be scared of the cone! If the cone comes after you you could take it! I just know you could!

We think your Mom should smear one of those cones with peanut butter, roll it in birdseed and put it outside for BRD TV. That way you would like the pine cone a lot! (and so would the birds)

Those are ginormous!!!!!! We bet that if a Sasquatch did touch those, you could smell him.

We agrees with Busby and Raymond it would make a good birdfeeder. We thinks you are being very silly Banshee, a pinecone can't hurt you. ~S,S & F

Those are huge pine cones. We haven't ever seen any that big. I think the idea of the peanut butter spread on the pine cone for the birds sounds great.

I have never seen such huge pine cones! I always thought they came from Coney Island.

Ah, a kindred spirit! Tell your Mom I love huge pine cones and have taken quite a lot of flack over the years for my use of them. Someone asked me once, who "buys" pine cones? I tried to explain that mine were special because they were huge and looked like trees themselves. I think they are just way cool :)...and I think your Mom is too!

Baby is very worried about those cones too. She thinks they would dwarf all 6 lbs. of her. She urges you to exercise extreme caution!

Your Christmas decorations are beautiful. I have never seen before such big pine cones. I agree with you and wonder how big the trees are that those came from. Stay inside and away from the big trees lurking outside, nothing can get you then.

That is a pretty scary thought about Sasquatch! Makes my fur stand on end just thinking about it. Think I'll go hide now.

Yes, Big Foot is real, but allergic to cats so don't worry!

Meow. Those cones are huge. We would love to climb the trees they came from. We think you could see the whole world from up there.

Those cones are big, Banshee, but we think they're harmless!!

Can you imagine climbing the trees those pine cones came from?

Banshee,
Your home is so beautifully decorated. Mama loves those pinecones! I think it's safe to go back to your BRD-TV. :)
