Oh the poor birdies. That looks awful. We hate ice storms because we can't walk around outside. Hope that goes away really soon for you and the birdies. Have a great day.
Mom says she thinks spring is coming early this year. Her friend said her tulips are already starting to come up! Doesn't look like anything is coming up to us, but the friend swears to it!
We wouldn't mind it if spring came early this year. :) Mom needs to go work out because her is gaining weights.
That nasty icy stuff looks much worse than the pretty white snow. Mum doesn't like going outdoors when it is icy because is running out of limbs to break!
Yes, by March everyone is just longing for spring. Icicles are pretty for just so long...... I'm sure you will have a significant thaw soon, and you will hear the sounds: the creeks and ditches rushing with snow melt, the icicles falling to the ground. The sun will shine and you will be able to smell the fresh earth. I remember this from my childhood in upstate NY. That first big thaw is always such a relief -- kind of like the first cold front in September is a relief to us after a scorching summer. Hang in there, kitties: spring is on the way!
Hope all that ice didn't make you lose your electricity! It would be pretty if it had sun shining through it...but if there was sun, then it could melt and go away.
We are two fine felines, living together yet worlds apart on the cat spectrum. Each saved from life in a shelter to be brought into a cozy house in the woods. I am Goldie, the young mancat, brave, fluffy and apricot. I am Banshee, young calico, formally feral, arrived in November. We live with four of them, The Music Man, The Peacemaker and the wee ones. These are our stories.

It looks like spring is hiding somewhere. We'll try to find it for you.
We all said a couple of really bad words at the sight of these pictures. Go away, Winter!

Ewwww, that stuff is WORSE than snow! Hope it melts furry soon!
Banshee, your bird feeder looks like a bird jail with those icicles. Spring is coming soon!
Poor birdies! I'm glad you are warm and cozy inside!
I'd say it's better on the inside looking out than to be outside in the cold and snow looking in!

Oh my goodness, look at all ice!! At least you're inside, safe and warm, Banshee!

Here it's like spring is just about to come, but is being held back. Come-on Spring!
