Now onto something that has nothing to do with those crazy beans!
I know most of you are aware of my love of the tempting catmint. The PM has nine planted for me in the side garden. I have developed quite a technique for savoring this delicate delight. I am not sure if this would work for catnip too, worth a try.
2. Pick one that has a few leaves and a few flowers for the best mingling of textures.
3. Once you have picked the perfect one, you need to put about 2 leaves and two flowers between your teeth. Make sure you have a snug grip on them but not too tight.
4. This is the tricky part. Slowly turn your head to the side and pull with your teeth. You need to exert the right amount of pressure. You want to pull off the leaves and flowers but leave the woody stem.
5. Chew slowly, enjoying the view.
6. There, that was nice.

When we eat catnip it's gone in a flash. We've never tried cat mint though, purrhaps we could be better at savoring it?!

You have excellent technique. That looks yummy. I'll have to talk Mommy into getting me some catmint.
That was a good lesson, I plan to get some of these plants for Nixon and Fatty next summer. I think they'll love them.
