The wee ones decorated the windows for the big night tonight and the wee lad said he wanted my perch window nicely painted for me.

Thursday with Shade and the Stars~ Pisces
Thursday with Shade and the Stars~ Pisces
We are moving on to our next sign.
This week it is~
Goldie and I are both Pisces, the PM figures. This does sound like us but Goldie has multiple beds whereas I have only a couple of spots that I like.
Any other Pisces out there?
Tune in next week for Aries.
OK, the PM has had a migraine for three days. I don't know if that was the problem or if she is going senile.
Whatever the reason, enjoy both of my Wordless Wednesday posts.
Crazy woman....
Goldie thinks he is all high and mighty with his new friend Canon but I have someone for you to meet too.
This is my new friend. The Music Man brought her all the way home from his trip to Montreal. She's French and very exotic. I am going to name her Melodie.
She really is lovely. We talk, we gossip.
Sometimes we lay together like this.
Other times we snuggle like this.
I am so happy! We will be bosom buddies forever and ever!!!!!!
PM~ "Um... Shade. Melodie is part vegetable. She will decay."

"PM, can I go out? Canon is here."
This intruder is actually my friend. He lives down the road and started coming over more and more a couple of weeks ago. When we first met, the PM saw him walking in our yard then saw me only a few feet from him, hiding. I jumped up and did a little come play with me dance and we raced across the yard. He comes by daily now and lays in front of the door, rolling and cooing until I come out. We run around and go hunting together. I heard he hunted worms which really grossed me out but he actually hunts normal things like rodents too.
Gotta go! Don't want to keep him waiting too long!
The last pic was from when Canon first came over to pick me up for our "play date". The PM wasn't sure what was going to happen when she opened the door but we just ran off together.

Thursday with Shade and the Stars~ Aquarius
Thursday with Shade and the Stars~ Aquarius
We are moving on to our next sign.
This week it is~
Will the rebel pet please stand up.
Is anycat a Aquarius or knows a Aquarius?
Tune in next week for Pisces.
We had quite a few days of craziness with those stupid starlings. The PM even started calling them stupid so you know that's bad. In three days we had 12, yes 12, birds come down the chimney. We got a new chimney and cap a couple of years ago but that apparently doesn't stop them.
On Sunday morning, the PM's starling nightmare came true. The PM had taken 3 birds out already that morning and was happy to hear that the flock of birds had moved on. She decided to start a fire as it was cold and she figured the smoke would deter any chimney divers. She listened carefully while she got the fire ready and there was no birds trapped.
As she lit the match and put it to the kindling and newspaper, the fire started and frantic claw scrambling echoed through the flames. One !@#$% bird had flown down at the same time as the fire was lit. He was in the chimney. This is actually Goldie's bird fantasy but believe me, it was not pretty to witness. The wee ones started screaming and crying, yelling that the bird was going to burn up. The PM left the stove door open a crack and ran to douse some newspaper with water to smoother the flames. As she was running back to the livingroom, the wee ones were yelling, "He's out! He's out!". That psycho bird must have flown straight down the chimney, through the flames in the stove and hit the door, causing it to open. The door on the stove has a glass front so that is why the PM thinks the bird went for it trying to get out.
The bird was then flying around the house, banging on windows, mad to get outside. Goldie was outside and did not witness this. That is a good thing. I, on the other hand was curious but did not move from my bed. The bird did flap around my food and water dish and hang out on my window.
The PM finally had him cornered behind a big plant. She moved the plant aside and picked him up in a towel and brought him outside. He left surprisingly unscathed.
The Music Man works very hard on his 12 hr shifts and comes home exuding the most intoxicating aroma.
Sometimes his feet are so deliciously pungent that he has to wash them.
I scored the mother load when I can upon this facecloth in the bathroom. It was dry but was still covered with the telltale scent of hard labor.
Oh.... Lovely. Yes, pure heaven.
How can I bottle this stuff?
Have a great ManCat Monday!!!!!
I may have indulged in too much nip. I didn't think that was possible but the PM and the wee ones came home from the day of library and swimming lessons to find me and the cranky Shade in this position. I think Shade was over her limit too to allow this to happen.
Our rear paws are actually touching.
So take heed when nip is offered. Pace yourselves.
I also thought I was hallucinating. I heard a noise in the woodstove and when I peeked through the glass I saw THREE sets of beady eyes looking back at me. I have to admit, I got a little scared. I retreated to my bed and tried to sleep it off. It was not a bad trip though, there were three starlings in the wood stove. To me, if you are stupid enough to fly down a chimney into a woodstove, you need to be my midday snack. The PM rescued them though and they flew off to have stupid starling babies.
Oh well, there is always tomorrow.

Wordless Wednesday~ Try Not to Faint
Wordless Wednesday~ Try Not to Faint
First off, I would like to thank our special friend, Vampy Victor
for the following award.
Thank you so much!!!!!!!! This really is a pretty award.
The weather during the day has been quite warm but I know winter is coming. The chill has crept into to air when the sun goes down and the PM started a fire in the wood stove a couple of days ago.
I sit under the fir trees midday, watching the cows and enjoy being out while I can.
Once the ground gets frozen, I stay in until the Spring thaw. Ice peeing is for crazy apricot cats.
Just wanted to wish all my fellow Canadians a Happy Thanksgiving!!
I spent some time looking through the leaves in the "kill mulch" part of the garden. The mice think they are safe in there but they are mistaken. I hope the PM does this to another part of the garden next Spring as it appears to have worked. The weeds keeled over but the critters are flourishing.
The PM saw me in the grass shortly afterwards and I was dancing around, throwing "leaves" in the air. I looked so happy that she came over camera in hand, ready to capture a great shot for the Frisky Fall Contest. When she walked over, I took my "leaf" and ran into the berm. This is the shot she got.
Well, it sort of came from a tree and it does...er, I mean, did glide through the air.
