They made fun of me when the PM put a box by the wood stove for me, in the Fall.
They bragged about their fancy beds, all fluffy and fleecy.
Now I can't get out for a sip of water without one of them stealing it!

You really can't beat a good box. We had one in the house for a long time, until company came over and it had to go away. I miss that box.

Ohhh, Cory's so smart...the best sleeping spot is discovered when somebody else is sleeping in it (and preheating it). It's nice of you to let those vultures share your wonderful warm box by the woodstove!

Maybe your PM can put food and water bowls (and a litterbox!) next to your box, so it can stay safe from the vulture types. :)
The simpliest always turns out to be the bestest. You go and show them a thing or two.
I think you need to convince your mom to put everything within paw's reach so you don't lose your box.
