Gardening Thursday

Gardening Thursday

What PM? You are outside for some Society of Feline Gardeners photos? I'll be right out!!

Foxes. Huge egg sac still hanging from tree.

On second thought. You're on your own PM!!

Our Rhododendron is in full bloom.

Forsythia are looking bright and cheery.

Our poor magnolia is still going. Only one bloom this year. It was here when we bought the place and is in a horrid spot with lots of wind. There was a beautiful purple one too by the clothesline but we think it died this winter. No wonder the previous owner lost his landscaping business, he's a total gardening twit!

We don't blame you for staying inside, Shade! That giant egg sac is still giving us nightmares!

Your garden is beautiful, though!

Pretty flowering shrubs. Hmm, gardening from inside? Are you waiting for warmer weather?

Your rhododendron is stunning! We think our mum could be related to the previous owner, as she is also a gardening twit. MOL! :)

What a lovely lavender shade your Rhododendron is. Thanks for showing us around Shade. ~AFSS

It's too cold here to do any gardening so were just looking at ours through the window. You've got some pretty flowers in your garden.

Foxes! Egg sacs? Yikes! Very wise to stay inside!

All your flowers are lovely, though. Thanks for the garden tour!

I think even Jonesie would stay inside if foxes were in our yard!

I'm laughing because at the mention of "gardening twit", Jonesie says she wants to get her supergardencat cape and fly off to help those in need!

FORSYTHIA! Mom keeps calling them Honeysuckles and she knows she's wrong but can NEVER remember that name! Thanx for confirming she's not nutz...but we may disagree with that! Your garden is lovely.

Forsythias don't grow here but we have something called a Forsythia Salvia that has blooms that are similar to a Forsythia. It won't bloom until late Summer though.

Your garden is beautiful!

We were wondering about that egg sac thingy. It freaked our Mommy out. She says she'd stay inside and point thru the window what needed doing.

Ewww, giant egg sacs? We don't think we'd like that at all! Your garden is quite lovely. We have lots of Forsythia here. We love seeing the splashes of yellow ... it's as though they are heralding the arrival of the warmer weather. :)

Thanks for visiting, and for your nice comment!

Shade
We think you did our type of gardening...we always just watch Momma from inside the air conditioned house as she toils outside.

Wow -- you've already got beautiful flowers like that!!! Well, our lilacs are blooming, but little else. We're still getting frost warnings -- it's been a rather cold May so far here in Ottawa.

That's a gorgeous picture of Shade by the way -- the second one especially. She is just set off purrfectly by all the things around her.

MOL, Shade. I don't blame you for staying inside. I would too! On the other hand the rest of your garden is beautiful in spite of the twit (hee hee). Love the purple and the forsythia and even the poor magnolia. You're a lucky kitty to have such beauty to look at!

What pretty flowers. You can't smell them from the inside, Shade.

Those are good flowers! We think our weather is a few weeks warmer than yours. Our forsythia stopped blooming 3 weeks ago. But they sure were nice!
