Out in the Snow

Out in the Snow

I used to run the fields outside all the time but add into the mix~ foxes, coyotes, bobcats and a cougar and I am now inside all the time. I go out in my harness but I tend to be nervous now. For some reason though I am not nervous at all when snows on the ground. The PM lets me go out with her in the Winter

She had been out all afternoon collected boughs and doing the outside decorating. I asked to go out and she said OK.

Good variety of greenery for inside.

Not a whole lot of snow, just a dusting really.

The wind smells crisp and delicious with woodsy aromas.

I give the cedar a look see.

I check out the pergola display.

Well done, PM, nothing too fancy. We are in the middle of the woods you know and I don't think the wildlife appreciate anything to garish.

A quick sniff around the bird feeder...

... and a whizz in the grass then it's back inside to warm up.

The sun is lovely here today but the snow and ice is furry cold on our toes. We don't have as much snow as you but we have been told to expect lots more tomorrow - mum says "rude word" great - we've told her she is furry naughty!! We wish we had lovely grounds round where we live like you do - how lovely to have all those trees to hide behind and then jump out on the unsuspecting mum!!

Oh I thought you'd never get to it. I just knew a whizz in the grass was going to be a part of your outdoor adventure. We hope to see ice peeing in the coming months!

Ooooh, it's pretty out there but our paws get cold just thinking of walking on that dusting of snow. Although we do like the idea of whizzing in the grass.

All we have right now is a dusting too. What a great time you had outside, helping your human. She did a great job with the decorative greenery!

Hello Goldie, we are glad that your mom allowed you to go out to check the snow and all the interesting things there.
It must be nice there where you live!
But....believe it or not...we have much more snow today.
It is totally unusual for northern Germany to have so much snow like now.
Now we hope for a white christmas...

What fun to explore with your PM. It's funny that feel more comfortable out there when snow is on the ground. I only like snow when I'm inside.

Your PM did such a nice job with the outside decorating!

I be the warming up was even nicer after being out in the snow. You sure look cute out there!

Goldie I can't imagine how scary it must be to have such scary wildlife. You are brave going out. I wonder if the snow hides their scent a bit?

The ape is in love with your floofy tail

We agree with Cory! What a "relief" to see the first snow pee of the season.

We have coyotes by us, they come and examine the garbage cans sometimes. They're scary!

We thought you had the purrfect winter coat (and tail) for that snowy weather. It looked beautiful and we are sure the decorations are beautiful.

A whizz in the snow is always a must before going back indoors.

It musta felt good to get out there!! There's nothing like peeing in the cold...of course we wouldn't know because none of us have ever peed outside, but it sure sounds like fun!!

We never have snow here, so I don't know, but isn't it cold on your paws walking on it? In any case you look gorgeous against the snow dust. Take care though.

Hey friends, what a lovely winter you are having!!!! we had a 'dusting' of snow as well. But mom didn't let us out in it on the porch like she normally does. She wasn't feeling very good. SO, we will instead go out if we get more! we are supposed to this weekend!

We love your snow photos! And are so jealous of you goldie!!!
