A sad day

A sad day

Sadness overcomes the home today. The outside tree is getting ready to go back outside to become some protection for the birds and the house is losing a bit of it's color. Yesterday part of my extended feline family passed away, going to where the others have gone before her, where they wait to greet her. She was a city cat, 18 years old. a regal calico. I didn't get a chance to run in the field with her but knew her from her scent when They returned from the forays to the city. Maybe she'll join me now, in spirit. She passed in the arms of loved ones, wrapped in her favorite blanket. I wish for such comfort and peace at the end. I lay close to Shade today, she is the matriarch of the clan now.

The wee-est one got this card during the holidays, I thought it was suiting.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Sending kind thoughts to your extended family they find comfort in happy memories.

I saw you over and Dragonheart and Merlins and wanted to say hi. I like meeting new friends.

My mommy works at a wild bird store and we love to feed them. I stay inside and watch them thru the windows. We have woods behind our house so we see all kindsa wildlife.

I am a rescued former feral with FIV but I'm happy and healthy. Stop by and visit sometime.
