.

First off we'd like to send out big purrs to our friends Daisy and Jonesie as they are feeling under the weather. Get better soon furiends!

We have had a busy week out here in the woods, with our snow almost all gone. With that also goes the calmness of a Winter's day when everything is wrapped in white. Now the anxiety of Summer Plans begins. This was a week of lists, lists and more lists.

I was very happy though that the PM decided to take me around the property for a Spring Inventory.

I had my first roll of 2010 and it was SPLENDID!!!!!

We were surprised to see how many trees have been damaged this year. We will have a busy Spring, pruning and cutting things down.

Goldie came out for about five minutes. He was nervous and sat on the PM's rainboot. He likes it better when the PM has a chair outside and he sits on her lap. She told him she has something in the works for him and the rest of us felines.

He seemed real happy about that.

A roll is never the same until you do it in the great outdoors - Mum's really appreciate all the interesting things that come in and drop all over the floor and furniture from your furs.

It sound as though you're going to have something happening outside soon - good luck snoopervising.

It must be lovely for you to see the grass again after all the snow, and have a good outdoors roll. We wonder if the plans are for an enclosure for lying out on sunny days.

For a kitty who doesn't mind doing his duty in the snow, Goldie certainly is being particular about the grass! Shade, on the other paw, is certainly enjoying the outdoors. There's something very special about the scent of early spring!

We can well imagine that first roll was fantastic!

These plans sound intriguing--we're thinking outdoor enclosure too, which would be fabulous!

Now THAT'S a Spring Roll (mom always gets spring rolls from the Chinese food place) What the heck happened to that split tree? Lightning?

Oh noes! The poor broked trees! We are glad you got out for a roll and inventorying! Spring is much funner than winter.

We certainly had a tough Winter too. You can be proud that the PM took YOU with her, Shade. Maybe, after all, you're the most trustworthy around. We are almost certain the "plans" involve a safe and cool run for you three. It could turn out really great because you've got enough space to build something decent.

Does seem like a lot of work for you. We only have a little garden and that takes up a lot of time in spring.

Shade, that roll was very good, looks like you have been practicing all winter long!

Gosh you are so far behind us in terms of green grass. Mum finished her damage pruning weeks ago, the grass is green here.

Maybe you will get an outside run.

Thank you for comforting note about Bucky. I really appreciate it. It's a sad time, but the support from blogging friends has been so helpful and sweet.

I love Shade's roll in the spring grass. That's happiness. Goldie sitting on the PM's boot is so cute, and yes, he does look happy.
