Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek

The PM does a cat search before she leaves the house. She needs a visual on each feline. When I first came here, the playroom was converted into my apartment for a few weeks while I got used to the place. It still holds some special memories for me and I like to hang out there.

I had decided to take a nap on the bean bag chair. It was half covered by an overturned hedgehog but it just made it cozier! It was also the perfect hiding spot.

After looking through the house for about 20 minutes, the PM finally found me.

OK! OK! You've spotted me! Gooooooood bye!

Tee Hee! Very good, Banshee!

#1 also likes to make regular checks, especially at night before going to bed, to make sure she hasn't locked anyone anywhere, but sometimes it's just impossible to find us all!

I know about those checks and it's fun to watch Mommy when I am hiding!

When mom leaves the house she has to check on Chilli who will try to escape through the door with her. You look very cute in the last picture, Banshee. Have a good weekend!

Yes, Banshee, hiding is so much fun, especially when you can hear them looking and looking. Good times.

Love these pictures of you! You look so cute yawning. :)

My mom calls it "counting noses"...don't ask me why. My favorite trick to make her freak out is to burrow under a blanket...then I'm invisible! Keeps her around longer. You should try it.

Our Mommy does the same thing; we usually keep our mouths shut and try to hide, but when she shakes the treat bag, we come running!!...Banshee looks very cute and comfortable in the bean bag chair...Hope you guys have a great weekend=Happy Spring!!...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukkki

i do those checks as well always, before i leave and of course when i come home but usually they are greeting me when i get in the door...unless they are in a huge deep sleep and i came back too soon. ;)
Happy Weekend!!

Banshee...our mom does the same thing...and I like to hide too!! One time mom looked for a long time for me...made her late for work which didn't make her happy, but I thought it was pretty funny!

That was a good hiding place. It is fun to watch the Beans trying to find you. I have a very good hidey hole and mum still hasn't found it.

My mom counts kitties too...before she leaves the house and before she goes to bed. We think your hedgehog adjacent bed looks like an excellent napping spot.

That looks like a great cozy spot! I'd like a beanbag too :)

That looks like a great spot to crash, Banshee! Momma has to play count the kitties several times a day because our Nana and Grampy never notice when we sneak into a closet - or their bedroom or TV room - which for some strange reason we are Not Allowed inside.

Banshee
My Mom and Dad also do a head count on all of us each and every time they leave. Every so often one us has a new sleepy spot and it takes them a long time to find us. We like to keep 'em guessing too.

I do a head count every night for my guys! One opening of a can of cat food in my house, and they can hear me no matter where they are on our 13 acres. But, I could scream my head off for them....and nada ;-)

Very good hiding spot and comfy too! Does your mom freak out after she's been looking for a few minutes. Our mom has to have a visual too and it amuses me to watch her looking and looking.

That looks like a comfy place to hide in plain sight, Banshee...and your yawn is so cute! We sometimes are hard to find, like one of us will be sound asleep on a nest in the basement and won't respond when Meowmy calls. Oh and there was the day when Lesley, one of the kitties who came before, came to live here...and vanished...Meowmy called her and looked all over...and finally opened the closet in the living room and heard purring from deep inside a box tucked under all the coats.
